I put a new battery/capacitor in my Seiko kinetic diver last month.
Once you remove the rotor, battery cover and the Mylar cover its not too difficult a job.
The battery cover screws are tiny and I had to sharpen and shape a custom screwdriver to
do the job.
All worked out ok.
