The missus watch shops with me. She was a lot more surprised by her DJ on our anniversary than by most of my watches.
My Milgauss story. I mentioned one day how affordable they were on the grey market. She said “you should buy one then”. She went on a holiday to visit family, and upon her return I showed her my new Milgauss. She was briefly taken aback, but immediately remembered the conversation and admitted it was her idea. She hasn’t made the suggestion again though, which suggests she may have strategically outsmarted me, as I was also looking at APs at the time.
