Offering up this iconic Rolex 16030 Datejust with 36mm stainless case and engine turned bezel with a MINT silver dial and performing well with no issues. Date snaps over right at midnight and the winding is smooth (no service history within the last 5 years). This is one of the first 16030 Datejusts with the 3035 quickset date movement as the serial number is in the 5.9mil range - dating it to 1978. The full length factory Jubilee bracelet has a 'B' date code - dating it to 1978 and one of the earliest date codes for a factory Rolex Jubilee bracelet with the 'D' links. Prior to this all of the Jubilee bracelets used the 'Oval' links. The bracelet has average stretch for a 44 year old watch however, there are no gouges, dents or excessive wear. The watch and bracelet have NOT been refinished while I've owned it and it has very little polish (if ever) to the case. All 4 lugs are uniform and still retain the factory chamfers. The buckle has not been refinished and retains a full coronet.
