WIS's forget that the great majority of watches are small and subtle enough that they are a relatively insignificant part of one's attire. I.e., as long as you avoid strapping a huge, brightly-coloured diver over the cuff of a business suit, >90% of the world won't even register your choice of wristwatch. So, that minor caveat aside: wear whatever you like, where you like and when you like!

I have very little patience for self-appointed "experts" who purport to dictate what watch is appropriate for what occasion. Life is too short for such nonsense.
