What a fantastic story! Isn't that what collecting watches should be all about? A stunning watch, under the radar, cool-looking, with the most gorgeous automatic movement in the industry, collected with the purpose of keeping it, enjoying it and at some point gifting it to the most loved person in the collector's life. I can only applaud you for the idea, the choice and for making it happen.

The more I get into watch blogging, the more I see that this hobby should be neither about flipping-frenzy-paranoia nor about declaring that this or that type of watch is dead. It is really about creating your own moments, traditions and wearing the watches you love regardless of the season's hype.

This was a simple story, but certainly one of the nicest ones I have read here on TRF. Bravo
