Decades of promotion through, early Holywood, the Mamas & Papas and the Beach Boys etc, the modern Holywood/California love fest in movies such as Bottle Shock, Cluless, etc, etc, etc.

We have lunatics making TV programmes entitled "my favourite, secret place"
broadcast, on National TV.....WHAT!!!!!!
The sad truth is, there are already too many of us on this planet.
Even a Global Pandemic ain't gonna slow us down, were far too adept at solving whatever 'time' throws at us.
So we will continue to multiply exponentialy, 'till eventually even the future 'bread baskets' of the world (Africa, South America) won't sustain us all.
