The person who made the comment lives in the UK so clearly knows that London is on the same island. It’s like an American not knowing that New York was in the USA.
The point was that the post generalised rudeness of “UK ADs” based on a London experience. London is not known for its friendliness, where as head north and in general, things get friendlier the further north you go. Again some generalisations but that’s the general point
