I would go with the 1305 as I have one and have a lot of wear with it. I bought mine from my AD, pre-owned, for sub 6k and have not missed a beat. I have owned the 389 and the 1389 and they are great watches but the ceramic bezel in the end did not do it for me. I like the Panerai 243 but it is only 44mm and the 1305 at 47mm is the right size for me. I would look at our Trusted Sellers for pre-owned and save big. Good luck.
