He has a good point though. Not because it generally have been a good deal to buy perfect. Rather because wearing a great watch will keep you happier in the long run.
To the original poster; be patient. Great examples do come around. C24 is probably not your best bet to find them. Dealers will sell great pieces faster than they can do a listing on C24 or even on their own website. Follow dealers and collectors on IG and I think you will soon be hunting for better examples.
