For me I always look at the bottom of the twos. If you compare them the aftermarket ones are straight, while the genuine ones follow the curvature of the inside diameter of the insert.
Not sure though if yours would have originally had a serif or non serif insert, but that's really not an issue. I have this "Talking Points" booklet from 1991 showing the non serif insert.
