Case is probably fine. It is just re-engraved. Serial looks to be 398xxx which is perfect to begin with. My guess is that it has been serviced by someone independant that have taken the parts they had, re-engraved the case and refinished the dial. Something not uncommon at all for a watch in the 60’s.
