Nonsense. I’m on my fourth SS Daytona since 2000. First was one of the last 16520’s with white dial, second was a white dial 116520 traded a few years later for a black dial 116520. When it came time for a 116500 I asked my SA for a black dial because that was my favorite. I could have had either although a white dial would have taken longer because more people asking for it.
I’ve never had the desire to have both at the same time, I’d rather spend my funds on diverse models. I’m also pretty sure this one’s a keeper too. Don’t want a bigger one, or date, or new movement, very happy with this variation.
