Long before the Nautilus and Aquanaut prices soared in the secondary market, the enamel dial WTs had long waitlists. These watches are limited by the artisans who paint the enamel dials, whereas technically Patek can produce as many Nautilus and Aquanauts as they want.
You may be able to establish a relationship with a small AD and after a few Patek purchases may be able to get on a wait-list for an enamel dial WT. However since Patek only makes a few and smaller ADs may only receive one every couple of years, it will be a wait. However it is possible with a few Patek purchases and a long wait if you find the right AD.
