I'm quite the opposite. I'd rather discretely tuck it into the recesses of my bag and send it through the x-ray machine at the airport (eyeing it like a hawk obviously, but there are cameras EVERYWHERE so wouldn't expect that many foolish people to steal at a security check), than wear it and have a TSA agent tell me to take it off and put it wide open into a tray where everyone can see it.
