Very nice piece for under $500 shipped from Hodinkee.

Here are the stats:

Caliber: Manual-winding ETA 2801-2
Power Reserve: 42 hours
Water Resistance: 50 meters
Bracelet/Strap: Green textile strap
Lug Width: 20mm

I was first drawn to this one by the strap, but I don't love it in person. I think a leather or just regular gray NATO is going to be the way to go.

The "Vintage-Lume" is much better on the wrist than in photos, it is subtle, not over the top. It looks like a well-executed color choice, not a sign screaming "Hey look, I look vintage!!".

On the wrist it really is a perfect size, I was between this and the Tudor Ranger, and what I realize getting this in hand is that I really want a 38mm Ranger.

I would say the best thing this watch has going for it is legibility, it is super easy to see exactly what time it is right away, the dial layout nails that purpose, which is after all THE purpose.

On the fence on keeping this or spending a bit more and picking up a Ranger.

Pics below:
I have the ranger and the Hamilton. They are both sweet, with the ranger being an auto and the Hamilton a hand Cranker.

The strap on the Hamilton, is agree, is meh.
