Guys, best way to tell about a Submariner rep is:

1. Cyclops magnification.
2. 'Pearl' on the bezel.
3. Crown guards.
4. Font on the Dial. ['m' in 300m should be right above the "m" in chronometer]:

1000ft=300m
SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER

5. Hands on the LV (Green Sub) should be like the 16622's "Maxi" hands aka Fat not the thin ones the other subs have.
6. Bezel teeth.
7. Crown (too big/fat = fake)
8. Bezel Clicks (should have 120).
9.Crown Engraving (YM's should have the Triplock -the crown has 3 small dots underneath).

On the Yacht-Master (Ref. 16622...)

1. Cyclops magnification (some fakes have either too low mag or too much).
2. The hands are the most obvious tell (Some fakes have the Non-Fat hands).
3. Crown Guards (some fakes have huge CG).
4. Crown (again, too big/fat/small/thin = Fake)
5. Bezel Clicks (should have 120).
6. Red "Yacht-Master" font (Gens have thick red font).
7. Crown Engraving (YM's should have the Triplock -the crown has 3 small dots underneath).
8. Cyclops (most obvious tell) You will find the cyclops on most reps will be too far to the right.

It's pretty basic but every bit helps.
