As someone who has previously owned a 14270 and now currently owns a 1016, I find your review to be spot on.
I have also noticed that sourcing a mint condition 1016 has proven to be much more difficult than a comparable 5513 / 1680 / 1675.
Your L-serial appears to be in amazing condition - the domed T22 and crisp bezel and case look outstanding.
