As long as you don't flash it on purpose and are smart about it! I wouldn't be purposely waving it around to draw attention to myself. I'm always a bit wary of bringing a nicer watch with me when I travel, simply because I'm more distracted taking in the sights, and possibly not paying attention to the full situation. Also, the reality is that you'll often just draw more attention as a tourist (unless you dress and speak like a local.) Plenty of locals wear their watches (I have a friend in Paris who regularly wears his gold DD and Patek 5712) but are still smart about it, by for example, making sure their sleeves are over the watch while on the Metro or in certain areas.
