What the others have said. But to add: Best to find somebody to trade with that has what you want. That gives them to ability to clear a piece of inventory presumably at a profit as well as bring yours in at hopefully a bit less profit.

I recently tired of my 2019 Explorer and offered it to 2 TSers. Clearly they were looking to make closse to a couple of thousand dollars on the buy and sell. Then I found a TSer that had the 2018 Bluesy I wanted. Was easy to make a deal. Even considering the tax I paid I got an offer that was very close to what I paid net of the tax and picked up the Bluesy. I presume the seller made the same $1500-2000 on the transaction but did it over 2 watches. And the Explorer was gone from the Seller's website at $500 over MSRP in 3 days.
