I recently removed the bracelet on my 39mm Explorer 1 and did so with relative ease with 2 small screwdrivers. Removing it was easy but putting it back on was rather more challenging, I tried for about 20 minutes and ended up refitting it simply with my bare hands, no tools needed and no scratches :-)
I will think twice before putting a Nato on it again though :-)
