Condition is not always the determining factor in what makes a watch worth more than another. Some of us would far prefer to have a watch in what we think is all original condition than one that presents as being in nicer condition, but has a service insert, has been polished, and is has replacement parts.

I think why watch 1 has gotten some love here is because it presents as an untouched example. Sure, it has scratches and the bezel is not perfect, but that very well could be because it's never had anything replaced or polished.

Sharp and crisp lines are what defines an Oyster case and makes it so beautiful. IMO...It's worth the extra $ and time to find one as such.

And price is a huge determining factor in evaluation.
