My 16710 has a story that spans more than years to tell.
It was serviced in RSC Kuwait, and the technician told me he "updated" the bezel to turn only in one direction, that was in 1998. When I bought this watch in 1989, the bezel was bi-directional.
Fast forward to 2014, when through the net and forums like this one, I learned to click open the bezel. I found out the reason why by bezel rotates only in one direction. Now, after all these years, I have reason to believe, the original spring got lost during that service job in Kuwait, and my 16710 was installed a bezel spring from unidirectional model.
Here is my watch today, 2014. I am in need of a bezel insert. Anyone can please point me to the suitable replacement?
