Not sure on that Dee. The S in MSRP stands for Suggested. If they can discount they can charge over MSRP. Would Rolex like it, probably not but I don’t really think they would do anything about it. Maybe Rolex USA would be harder on it but overseas it is a pretty common practice from what I read here.
And of course AD’s all over the world sell to gray market dealers. From a business perspective a lot of AD’s need them to move some slow moving merchandise. To get the gray dealer to take the slow movers they have to sell them a fast mover high profit piece every now and again. I was at a Rolex AD a few months ago and saw 6 Rolex boxes stacked up getting shipped out to the same person. Didn’t see what was in the boxes but I bet it was a mix of slow movers and a BLNR or a Daytona or SD43.
