Sorry for my ignorance. This was my grandfathers watch and he was killed in a car accident in 1993.

Greetings and welcome to TRF, that looks like a Tudor Rotor to me with a different bezel, same shape watch also came out in an oysterdate prince-quartz, I would get it checked out as Steve suggests
