UPDATE
Watchmaker just called. Apparently the bezel will not fit with the current plastic crystal that is on the watch. He has to replace it with a newer, updated, sapphire crystal (Rolex). Gave him the green light. So looks like I'll be getting a sharper bezel and brand new sapphire crystal!!!!
