Would be an okay offering from some micro-brand that sells at a heavy discount. For GQ? Probably one of the biggest misses.

GO almost nailed its brand identity when its shed the previous line of sports models and the Navigator family. You sort of could see the brand and its direction--basically it was about well decorated, traditional watches with some flair (as seen in the vintage collection). Then boom. This unwanted child shows up.

Faux patina, odd numerals, really interesting take on finishing. I am being kind here. It is definitely not a Sub wanna be, but not quite a Sinn. Combine a few of these models with the operations of GO USA, and soon you'll see the brand sold to some Asian conglomerate for a fraction of its today's price.

P.S. The bracelet. That's the best part of the watch.
