The ref. 807 Dive Chronograph was launched in 1957 too, together with the SuperOcean ref. 1004 Automatic; yes, it seems to be the first dedicated diving chronograph and also the first to use "reverse panda" subdials to improve legibility of the minute counter.
A true Re-Edition is technically impossible, as the original had a 35mm case w/ a 39mm bezel, but even the 38mm (42mm bezel) case of the current "Vintage-inspired" SO '57 wouldn't be big enough to fit the in-house cal. B09.
