....so like I said....list everything prior to tax.....then one can add the applicable tax himself. Then you will have a comparison of all the 'base' tax free prices and one can do the tiny bit of work to draw an accurate conclusion regarding pricing.
There's too much variability with tax rates (even within countries, as sjg22 pointed out and you point out with USA) to try and create an accurate calculator taking this into account.
