Rolex hasn't done anything other than good marketing. And make a very good product. From my understanding they make about the same amount of watches every year, probably in about the same numbers per model and have done so for decades. They just aren't going to respond to market demand since they know it is finite. The worst thing they could do is flood the market with what people want now...
