I started with Rolex, looked at Omega and then went all in with Panerai early in the big watch trend. I became very frustrated with Panerai based on the marketing and the limited availability. Panerai also has a habit of issuing a LE watch and a short time later putting a very similar watch out as regular production. I have steeped back into the Panerai world over the last few years but nothing has stuck. That is until now when I picked up a 422, for the second time, and really like it. Hung onto most of my straps from the past so I am having fun in the "Strap Game". One Panerai for now is enough but if I could find a 690 or 389 for what I consider good money I might own two.
