I am wondering the same thing. Here is a photo of the same calibre (IWC 30110)
They engrave the rotor. It also says "Adjusted to 5 positions" so it seems that they also regulate the timing
The blue dial (Le Petit Prince edition) is the same price as white/black and is not limited. The caseback has an image of Le Petit Prince instead of a WWII era plane. Strap is brown with white stitching, as opposed to black with black stitching.
