Nice video; well done. I have the blue dial mark XVIII, and I really like the legibility, the look, the dial contrast. I'm good with the white date wheel, and the white stitching on the strap. The strap overall is great quality. The dial could use more lume, not a deal breaker. I'm not sure how much better the dial would look with the date window closer to the 3 o'clock position. Probably better, like the Mark XVI. The ETA base movement is not a big deal to me at this price point. To me, this watch was a wearable compromise for the Big Pilot, a watch I've looked at for years. I can't get over the wearability of a big watch that sits that high on the wrist; cost and re-sale being another. I've always liked IWC; this is my 3rd one (Aquatimer 2000 and 3714 being the others). This felt like to next logical step, and the negatives are minimal - date window placement and lack of lume at all the hour hash marks.
