The big issue is liquidity as others said. There are not many buyers for this watch. Of course a dealer might take it from you but boy are you going to pay for that lack of liquidity. Did ACM own those Eichi’s outright or were they consignment? Probably the latter, and if so that’s another relevant data point.
In my head if I was buying this watch my assumption on exit price would be $30k. If I can live with that then I’d be OK to buy, but if a sale at that price would be something I could not swallow then I’d have to pass.
