Help to find a model
Dear all,
I have just received from my father in law a Rolex Precision from 1954-1956 (he says). He remembers the event when this watch was given him as present but not the exact year. It is fantastic, I already love it.
My question is: Which is the year of this watch? I've found the model, Coin Edge Precision, but the serial number is 106 thousands and using some web-tools I found that the production year should be 1938. I found some almost identical watches and they are from the mid '50. Which is the real age pf production? Because if it was from the '30s it could be his father's watch and he would not remember this particular.
