It is unfortunate, but that’s the way of Tag these days. Actually, it’s been that way a long time. My 2000 chronograph suffered the same fate- too old to service. Regardless of the fact that the movement (tractor) can be had new for under $50 and the module is used by many manufacturers. They just can’t be bothered.
