Black Bay 36/41 and the Tudor ranger are probably the most obvious choices for a gada simple design that avoids diver bezel and is made of quality. Both can probably be had for great bargains. I would go for either of those over an Oris and definitely they will be better than Longines.
I had a Hydroconquest and loved it to death but after wearing nicer watches I realize how uncomfortable it was. Crown guards kept digging into my hand. I don't know if the newest model has fixed this crown guards issue. Again, I would suggest BB36 or the Tudor ranger.
