This. I bought a 10 year old sub that was practically unworn but it was about +10 with low amplitude. Took it in for a look and it was dry inside; which can exacerbate wear. After service it is about +1.5-2. FWIW, they said the seals were fine and it was still waterproof but replaced them anyway as part of the service.
