Thanks for the excellent review. I’ve had mine for over a year now and absolutely love it. Your comments about the perfect proportions of the case are spot on, but it’s not just the case. It’s the combination case/bezel/dial markers that taken together create almost perfect balance.
I used to have the 39mm Explorer 1 (214270) and even though it uses the same case as the OP39, the balance is most definitely off due to the use of the wider and flatter bezel, and the outsized numerals.
Just proves that every minuscule detail on such a small surface matters
