As I said in another thread, if my Rolex collection goes up in value, my son will inherit some bad @$& watches. If they don’t, my son will still inherit some bad @$$ watches.
Nothing "dumb" about it whatsoever. They will discontinue it, maybe not the balance of this year, prices will rise, and you son will have a great legacy piece if he wants it. The watch is a modern classic, especially considering the consistent demand it has received since its introduction.
