You may be able to get a solid 15-20% discount on either reference from an AD. Panerai specific boutiques however will not offer any discount. They might throw in an extra strap. I love the 233, but I do think it is a bit overpriced (though most Panerai are). It can be had on the secondary market for a lot less. Right now prices on the 372 are a steal. You can almost get a used one at half price. I paid 5k for my 372. The lowest I've seen 233s has been 7-8k used.
