That's simply not true. Posting that one company may do it would only invalidate a statement that "Only" Rolex does it. You would have to post similar tests for every watch in the "range" to prove that. I know for example Breitling doesn't, just look at the b55/b50. Maybe you should research Rolex Comex machines a bit, or the fact that every single watch is tested before leaving the factory. Were you aware one of the Speedmasters completely failed on the moon?

"It is a fact that an Omega Speedmaster had its crystal knocked off during Extra-Vehicular Activity (EVA) on an Apollo mission, thus rendering the watch useless." http://www.rolexmagazine.com/2008/06...iii-story.html

The IWC tests you have linked to is for general watch designs in the "prototype" phase but perhaps they test all their pilots series: "several months which are designed for new watches at the prototype phase or later as part of the approval process for the pilot series."

Rolex tests every individual watch that leaves their factory. I believe it is said that they if a Rolex breaks they want it to break at the factory. Just one reason it takes about a year for a Rolex to leave the factory.

Anyway we can agree to disagree, happy easter.
