Fly Fishing and Rolex!
“A couple of hundred dollars for a fishing pole!?¨ You'll hear that all the time if you don't keep your mouth shut in certain company. You can talk about the aesthetics and even mention a cane rod will appreciate in value while a new graphite rod will depreciate, but the best thing to do is turn around and say, ¨$9,000.00 for a car? I only paid $500.00 for mine.”
John Grierach (Trout Bum)
I have enjoyed fly fishing since I finished my first masters! I’m not great, but improving with enthusiasm! While I mainly enjoy trout streams near and around Tennessee, I’ve made a more active attempt to seek out new experiences.
I’ve read about every resource on the subject.
My rod/reel are reddington, but looking to upgrade. Buying a rod is just about the most intimate thing you can do with your clothes on! You never really know till you get in the water.
Every time I bring my Rolex with me.
