Dude rock it if you like it. I have a flattish 7.25” wrist and I have worn everything from a 39mm Tudor to a 44mm Panerai (+5mm for the crown guard).
I recently bought and then sold an omega Seamaster Diver 300M which is a pretty beefy 42mm and it wore very well on my wrist which looks to be similar to yours (I had to sell it to get a different piece, but it was so comfy I’m about to buy it again... lol).
Anyway the point is - no one gives a f*** what your watch looks like except you, so wear what you like. It would have to be outrageous for an average person to actually think you were wearing a watch that was too big.
