I felt the standard steel 39.5 PO is a bit wonky in size (they all are, actually). Because it's as tall as my MM300 but smaller than my GMT, it feels a bit top heavy. I tried it on one of the rubber straps, so it was adjusted to me fine. I actually liked the 43.5 a little more, plus that one has the 8900 with the independent hour hand.

But if I were going down the PO road again, I think I would just pick up the old 2201.50 first gen PO with the 2500 movement. It's the thinnest and best-fitting for my wrist.

OP, it looks like the bezel and crown are titanium. I would say possibly some form of treated/hardened steel, but I've never seen Omega use that process, so I'd assume Ti.
