Ebay has very recently rolled out mandatory authenticity guarantee to all watches selling at or expected to sell at $2,000 or more if the seller is based in the US. While it's a good step towards weeding out fakes, it's unclear how skilled the authentication providers are and eBay won't reveal who they are. Hope you get everything sorted out.
