Going by the thread he started, it appears as if he just threw out the AU$100K out as a number, nothing else. I don't think he's serious about that figure. Sure is a nice watch though. Whoever pointed out the rarity of the DRSD to him deserves a huge amount of kudos IMO.
We'll be posting a DRSD MKll for sale pretty soon, restored by Bob Ridley. We didn't even consider anyone else. After reading TRF for awhile, we realized that it would have been a huge mistake sending it to an RSC.
I'm not sure if we'll be offering it on TRF though, we'll see. I do know I'm not looking forward to the sales. One just has to read the Watchout section for about 10 minutes to know that it's a cruel cruel world out there.
