Easylink on a 16710?

Hello everyone,

I am a happy owner of a Rolex 16710 from 2004.

My only problem with it is that the bracelet on the 6 o'clock side is too long compared to the 12 o'clock side. That means that the clasp won't sit in the middle of my arm wrist. I have small wrist size and so I had to remove all removable links on the 6 o'clock side.

In order to fix that I found out that the clasp of a submarine (clasp #93250) comes with a 1/2 link of the 6 o'clock side instead of the full length link that my 16710 clasp has. That means I can shorten the bracelet on the side that is too long and additional increase the length on the side that is too short.

How ever, I now read about the easylink mechanism and oh boy.. that would be awesome! I just wonder what the best way would be to get the easylink on my 16710 while also be able to position the clasp in the middle of the bracelet length.

Do I need a different clasp for the easylink or do I just need the easylink part?
If I need a different clasp, which clasps are compatible?
Would the easylink fit in a 93250 clasp?

Thanks in advance!
