There are different cross-threading sensations you can feel; some are mild and almost like a barely noticeable grain-of-sand grinding sensation, and some result in more-pronounced "clicking" sensations where you know something is really wrong. I had the latter and it was fixed under warranty; a very reasonable approx 4 week turnaround time. I'm not sure of the details of fixing my particular watch, parts needed, etc. I am not certain what caused it though I am very careful about winding and crown positioning, etc. AP treated me great, smooth process, no questions asked, their typical excellent people handling things for me.
