Since you’ve owned this reference longer than most, I assume you’ve tried the following:

Slide the watch off your hand by turning your wrist over (palm up).
Squeeze your thumb to your pinky finger first bone (essentially make your hand as small as possible)
Undo the clasp.
Turn the watch head over on your wrist (which is now facing up).
Slide the watch off your hand with the watch head positioned toward your pinky finger.

I know this might not be the clearest of instructions, but I struggled at first removing mine as well, especially after a hot day of wear. This works like a charge for me

This might benefit others with larger hands
