[Just an opinion, but you may want to go full AD on something that precious. Not to say indies couldn’t do great work, but if something were to go wrong - you’d want it in the hands of those who gave it life...]

This. Rolex AD will insist on making it new, which would probably involve changing everything, including the dial and hands, and possibly the case.

If you have Houdini's magic wand and you swap out both tips and replace the shaft, is it still that wand?

Contact a sympathetic restorer like LAWW and discuss your options. It's a beautiful piece.
